Alaina, Arturo, Samantha & Dr. Byrd are truly an example of human integrity, transparency, compassion, consistency and respect in today’s healthcare field. That in itself is a rare gem. Clean facility. Knowledgeable team. I’ve never needed glasses until a week ago & everyone is patient selecting Lenses, Frames, took their time giving me explanations about everything (i.e. blue filter, warranty) details of my prescription and didn’t have to get the traditional dilation. Walking in, the space is clean, orderly, and immediately welcoming. As someone who’s worn contacts and glasses for the past 31 years, I was genuinely surprised to learn things about my eyesight and prescription that no other optometrist had ever explained to me before. Dr. Bird is incredibly knowledgeable and has such an easy, approachable way of breaking everything down so it actually makes sense. Dr. Bird and her staff are wonderful. She was so patient and engaging with my 5 year old. The staff were also very engaging with my daughter. I was nervous about bringing her to get her eyes checked but they made it effortless. Dr. Bird is very knowledgeable and explains things very thoroughly. She offered me so much compassion when I felt bad that I didn’t bring my 5 year old sooner or know she couldn’t see. We liked her so much my husband and I got our eyes checked as well.
Dr Bird was able to correct and undo the new prescription that I’d been given 6 mo ago at the Bird’s Eye Katy. She treats me like family, and stands behind her work, unlike the Katy office. SO WORTH the drive to League City from Fulshear!!! I’ve really missed her since she moved and should have come to League City right away.
