This place is awesome. The food is unpredictable and fantastic. Everything has a flair that takes you a little bit off the beaten path without being over the top in any way. We came here yesterday, waited at the counter, and walked away after nobody attended to us. We gave it another try. We had to flag down a person for service at the counter next to the register. We recently visited the Soo Locks area for the first time, joining family that has been collecting memories from parts of the UP for over 30 years. The guided kayak tour thru the Locks was generously scheduled for us by said family, and WOW, what an amazing experience! When we arrived to the store early to check things out on the day of our trip, I knew that I was in good hands with the little things we observed.
