Now I rarely leave reviews, but my experience with Birdeye has been frustrating enough to warrant my first. I did not know business were still able to operate in this way. From the outset, the product sounded promising. However, nearly every feature that was presented came with limitations or conditions that significantly reduced its practical value. It took a 1 star review to get any action from Birdeye which is poor service given the time we had been with them. They also didn't inform us anything was happening until after it was all completed. They make it near impossible to cancel their services. Multiple phone calls, services cases but nothing back whatsoever. There is definitely nothing seamless about getting out of the services which is pretty disappointing given the duration we have now had them engaged.
Avoid Birdeye altogether. We were sold a premium marketing and automation solution but received little more than a basic auto reply system. Despite paying around $440 per month, nothing of real value was delivered and any requested work was delayed or never actioned. The biggest issue is their cancellation process. We clearly requested to cancel multiple times, yet the subscription continued and charges kept coming through. What started out promising soon disappeared , onboarding was done via zoom with someone in India, not here in Australia. I requested a refund as the services described were not what I received, and far too expensive. I was told before my free demo that I had to pay first, I was lied to and told the $4400 special had finished and the rrp was actually around $7000+ they made me feel like they were doing me a favour.
