Very disappointing! Had heard many good things and decided to give it a try. Got there at 7:10, 50 minutes before closing on a Sunday and they were already putting chairs and tables away. We walked in and the gentleman said they had sold out of dough. Would liked to have verified that it was one of the best pizza joints in Charlotte but if you can’t serve pizza it’s hard to know. No reason to go back, too many other good pizzas in Charlotte
Bird Pizzeria absolutely lived up to the hype! When we first arrived, the line was pretty long, but the staff did a great job staying organized by seating guests with reservations first, followed by walk-ins. Even with the wait, everything moved smoothly. The atmosphere was relaxed, welcoming, and the perfect place to enjoy a meal.
