Another POV I was just looking for the phone number of Bird Jungle when I came across a Google link to the rather unpleasant review of this store from several months ago. Response to unfair review This is in response to Claudia Nicosiaâs review of 8/9/11. I am the manager of Bird Jungle and I was there that day. That review was unneccesarily nasty and insulting. I am very sorry this person had to wait. We were VERY SHORTHANDED that day. I had my 2 most experienced staffmembers out that day. One was on vacation and the other called in sick at the last minute. BIRD JUNGLE =BIRD NIGHTMARE I went to this store on Saturday Aug 6 to buy food & toys for my CAG. I will never go back. There were 3 employees (though they all looked like low class degenerates) and I spent close to 10 minutes looking for a specific perch, not once was I asked "Can I help you w/ anything?" a great place I love this place. They're knowledgeable and very helpful. They're a great place to bring the kids because the birds are free to move around. They have all kinds of birds that are healthy and obviously well cared for. Just go for a visit and you might find yourself becoming a bird lover and owner.
Great for bird lovers! My family recently purchased a Senegal Parrot from Bird Jungle. We have often visited the store since we were kids and we finally decided it was time to purchase a bird. First off, this is not your typical puppy mill pet store. The birds are well taken care of. The store hatches and hand feeds/care most of its birds that it sells. Hanging out with the birds can be fun Going to Bird Jungle is an experience like no other. The birds are not enclosed in cages, but rather sitting in open lucite cubicles. They are free to walk around, fly, or do whatever - but they tend to stay in their respective areas. Still, they do love to talk! It's always a party in bird jungle with the screeming parrots, cockatiels, parakeets, and other frinds. You'll enjoy yourself if you like to pick birds up and have them sit on your shoulder.
I purchased my two cockatiels at Bird Jungle as little babies and with Bird Jungle's help they grew to be healthy, beautiful, fantastic birds. I bring them for the pedicure/wing clipping all the time and staff is very helpful, pleasant and competent! I never had birds before and learned everything I needed to know from them so I highly recommend them. We come all the way from Connecticut every 3 months also to buy supplies at a reasonable prices. They are awesome! My next bird I will only buy from them.
I took my Green Cheek Conure to get his nails trimmed at Bird Jungle on August 9, 2015. When they were finished I noticed one of his wings was drooping and he was acting very unlike himself. I asked the lady behind the counter that was handling him during the nail trim why his wing was drooping.
