I’m a FedEx driver and Mark’s business is on my route. I haven’t purchased one of his bird houses. However, I can say he’s a nice guy, he always has birdhouses ready for pick-up, and he’s almost always working on them when I come to pick them up.
Placed an order through chewy and I love it! I have an American robin here in Connecticut that has been nesting right outside our window. Her nest gets hit by water and crumbles throughout the year. This house is perfect, we transplanted her nest from last year into it with success! Now she seems a bit more comfortable and isn’t causing a mess onto the house. June 8th placed order June 21st emailed asking status of order June 22nd received a reply "I have your feeder about 75% complete. I am not sure if I can get it finished by end of the week, but it will be ready by the first of next week". July 12th emailed asking for status of order July 12th received reply "I am finishing out the roof now and hope to have it shipped by the end of the week. August 11th still no birdfeeder. Will be requesting a full refund.
The product was delivered late- and only after I sent two reminder emails. The only explanation given was "I don't know what happened." The product arrived in very poor shape. There was a broken wooden piece and the bottom half of the birdhouse (the white portion) had a terrible paint job. We are going to have to reattach the wooden piece and we are going to have to repaint the birdhouse. Even the piece which advertised the maker "Birdhouses by Mark" was very shoddily done. I wanted to amend a review left by AniBruin about poor quality workmanship and poor customer service. After writing the review, I was contacted by Bird Houses by Mark and they issued me a full refund.
