Quite possibly, and likely, the largest collection of bird related books in one place. So many titles from field guides to species specific to memoirs. Not to mention the locally made bird feeders, stationary, and souvenirs to commemorate a life amongst the birds. A great shop with a great mission. Be sure to visit the Bird Alliance of Oregon Wildlife Sanctuary out back for a peaceful walk through the woods.
I drove a injured or sick gold finch to a emergency animal place and was told the Bird Alliance would give me an update. When I called this place they couldn't give any information other than someone who gives updates does so on the 1st and 15th of each month. I have not received any updates on the outcome. I dont know why they make it a big secret. Someone takes the time to drive a long way to get the bird help, atlease they could be considerate enough to give the person a update. So disappointed in this place.
