Everything about our living experience at Birchwood Gardens has been amazing! Lori sold this place for us. She is super sweet and responds quickly. We haven't had any issues with maintenance and the property overall is taken care of well. Our apartment is cute, cozy and we even got lucky with an updated apartment! Neighbors are quiet and super friendly! I feel very safe is this area and truly would recommend this apartment to anyone looking to move to Lawrence. Really good place. Very reasonable. Decent size apartments.
UPDATE: I wrote this review before the apartments were bought out by a company! I loved living at Birchwood Gardens because it was cheap, close to campus and the apartments were well kept up. Chandler was really nice as well. I didn't have any issues with the place that needed fixing, but I know if I did maintenance would be out right away. The only issue I found was that the walls were really, really thin. Think hearing your upstairs neighbors turn on a light switch thin. (I'm serious. I heard that.) Muy confortable
It's an old place but well maintained. Prices are good for the space, it's generally quiet and neighbors are nice. Windows need more insulation to keep you warm during winter. It has gas and energy, so in winter you will have two high bills instead of one.
