Very much recommend Birchwood Waterproofing if you have any basement related water issues. Their team was professional, arrived on time, efficient, and provided great communication. They easily exceeded my expectations in every way.
The owner of Birchwood Waterproofing, Joe Czarnecki completed unnecessary work, ruined my floors and left a huge mess. We went to court and he lost. He still hasn’t paid as the Judge order him to. Afterwards I looked up his name and company name and found they have been to court many times since in Luzerne and surrounding counties. Buyer beware… do your research on this company before hiring.
Joe was easy to communicate with, professional, and his crew did a great job installing a drain and sump pump in our basement. When he saw the problem, he suggested the most straightforward and affordable option. Would highly recommend.

Joe and his team did a great job installing the dump pump s free months ago. Today, because of all the rain, I came home to several inches of water in the basement. Joe did offer to come take a look, but was able to help me trouble shoot the sump pump over the phone. Turns out a breaker had tripped and we didn't realize it. Thankful for his prompt and professional response!
