I had to euthanize my elderly, very ill cat. I was a wreck, but the incredible team here was compassionate and supportive through the entire process.
as are all vets it's expensive however the staff is super friendly and they let me watch my cat get vaccinated as well as dog tooth surgery. super cool stuff. idk if they've saved my other cat from dying from all the fights he gets in but he's still alive and getting his ass kicked to this day so there's that.
I called to inquire about Heartworm pills for both my dogs, I was met with a very rude receptionist who immediately gave attitude from the moment the phone call started. I have never had such a bad experience with any receptionist here as I have been taking my dogs here for 10 years. I also just recently spent a lot of money on a minor surgery for one of my dogs. I understand people can have bad days but maybe try and keep your terrible attitude to yourself.
It's conflicting to write this review because Birchwood is one of the better vet clinics in the city and has some great veterinarians. But I feel the need after my recent visit because the ADMITTED price gouging left a sour taste. It's a reminder why I started going to another clinic in the first place, who doesn't play this game below and just gave me what I asked for to get my pets meds.
