This place has made me understand and accept myself and realise it's not my fault I went off the rails. This place has helped me heal deep childhood wounds and feel more like an adult in an adults body. I have found this place to be a gift that has helped me healing from what i consider severe childhood trauma. Someone to guide you and help you in your quest to have quality of life. Horrible service, disorganised.
I came to Birchtree seeking trauma-informed care but left deeply hurt and more broken. During my last session, I repeatedly asked my psychologist to stop a conversation that was causing me great distress. Five times I asked her to stop but my pleas were ignored, the conversation continued for 15 agonising minutes, leaving me feeling unheard and pushing me into complete overwhelm.
