Would not recommend. We stayed 1 night on our travels further north. Room was dusty, and full of cobwebs. The shower was full of mould, and leaked water all over the floor. The walls were dirty, and had something previously spilt on, but not wiped off them. The sheets on the beds were like sleeping in velcro. The wifi didn't work, and at 4am there was a rooster crowing to wake you.. Never again..
Very happy with my room and the location of the motel. Room was very clean and well facilitated. Staff were more than helpful & friendly. Will visit again
The hotel is well located on the Bruce Highway at Bowen. The room was very large and well set up, with access to the back lawn area. The staff we spoke with were friendly and helpful. Limited pet friendly rooms, so call to ensure availability.
Loved staying at Birch Motel Bowen. Large rooms Clean Excellent location Friendly staff. Allowed us to charge our electric car using 10 amp PowerPoint.
