Beautiful location, the weather was gorgeous. The cottage we stayed in, besides the sloped floors and "cozy" rooms, was clean but in dire need of some work and upgrades. Staff were kind and respectuous. They advertised free wifi throughout, even provided a password. But there was no network to connect to. The grounds were well maintained. I would not recommend it to friends, for the posted price. Good enough for a fishing trip, not comfy enough for a relaxing vacation.
Wow! What a wonderful place! We just came back from a one weeks stay in the campground section. The resort staff were excellent and all very attentive to guests needs. Beautiful sandy beach with sandy shoreline for swimming. No weeds! I can’t comment on the cottages, but they were all booked and looked well maintained. Everyone staying at the resort looked to be having a good time. We will definitely make this our go to place in the years to come
Nice lakefront historic resort. Only day trip, so I can't comment on cottages. Friendly staff. New owners.
