I went to dr Patel for sleep issues. Besides sleep apnea I was diagnosed with REM behavioral disorder. He said he would give me a med for it but since I was seeing neurologist for Alzheimer’s he said to get him to give him the med. Neurologist wouldn’t give med because he said it wasnt REM disorder . I went back to Patel and he refused to help me after he had just said he would. Neurologist got mad at me because I couldn’t tolerate the antipsychotic he prescribed. This is a physician you want on your team. He saw me through respritory failure. Do not expect small talk- EXPECT RESULTS! Dr. Patel focuses on the task at hand and is direct with solutions to recovery. I am alive because of Dr. Patel taking an aggressive approach and never 'sugar coated' my prognosis. I knew I must do my part and he would do his.
Had 230 appointment on 9/13/18. Got there at 2 and they were painting office and Dr was not in. Receptionist said they were closed. No cancellation call,email,or text from them.Never again
Dr. Patel is an excellent doctor he has really helped me when I suffer from respiratory failure and severe sleep apnea is an outstanding doctor sees you all the time he really does care about his patients p when I was in the hospital he always came and saw me everyday sometimes twice a day and check and make sure I was okay not going to tell it's always give me the right medications always shows he cares has a good sense of humor and a good bedside manner the staff in the doctor's great
Dr Patel is very "to the point". He doesn't want to talk about anything but his patient's sickness. He keeps searching until he finds the problem. Overall we left with a feeling that he cared and trust in him.
Poor overall affect skills. Appears to be an inattentive listener. Appears to be in a rush and often shows signs of impatience.
Dr. B. Patel is an expert in pneumonology and sleep medicine. Very straight forward and to the point. He has my well being as top priority and will provide guidance on how to improve.I feel safe in his care and appreciate him very much.
His bed side manners are very poor.
