Giving him the benefit of the doubt for a few things: 1. He clearly communicated everything to me about my surgery options. 2. He is WILLING to do the surgery if I'm on board with it. 3. He did make sure to have me go through all the correct testing prior to my consultation just to be sure I'm getting what I need. HOWEVER: I may ultimately choose to see a different surgeon, because I don't feel comfortable having ANY conversations with him, much less allowing him to perform surgery on me. I had a colon resection surgery performed by Dr. Chand in May of 2024 and was very pleased with the surgery and how quickly I healed. Dr. Chand and his staff were very professional and concerned about my well-being. I highly recommend Dr. Chand for any G/I procedures that any person may need.
I have followed Dr. Chand from Cleveland Clinic to Loyola and now to Ascension Resurrection. He is by far the best GI surgeon I’ve ever had. I trust him whole heartedly. He’s saved my life multiple times. I have a very rare disease and wouldn’t allow anyone else to do surgery on me besides him. I would highly recommend him as he’s hands down the best GI surgeon you’ll find in Illinois.
