I had an amazing experience at BioPed! I recently got custom orthotics made there, and they have been absolutely life-changing. The fit is perfect, and the comfort and support they provide throughout the day is incredible. The service was awesome from start to finish. If I could give this place a 10 star I would! Great service, great appt options, great care, amazing quality. And dedicated to making sure their patients are 100% comfortable and happy when walking out the door. Willingness to work with your family Dr to make sure you have the proper treatment if more follow up is required. Also work with the dr to ensure that your paper work for insurance purposes is accurate. They accept no payment until you pick up for orthotics and are happy with their service. TL;DR: Emily is AWESOME and you WILL be happy with Bioped Barrhaven. Last spring I started walking at least a mile a day. Even with new "Go Walk" shoes, I experienced a lot of pain such as shin splints, etc. I figured this was normal because I haven't walked on a regular basis in years. Then the fallen arch happened. After a couple of weeks of using store-bought insoles, it was obvious to me this wasn't going to heal on its own. I couldn't even put my foot down without pain.
