All these negative reviews need to chill out, this isn’t a job or a true source of income, you’re not guaranteed to get paid every time, so either make better life decisions or get a better job. I’ve seen countless interactions of adults treating these 20 year old employees so poorly for simply just doing their jobs, it’s not that deep people, grow up or don’t donate.
This location is close by and I've donated maybe 14 or so times starting this August. No major surprises. Professional staff. Easy way to earn extra cash. Prompt payment. Very generous first-timers' promotional offer was legitimate. This location gets busy so I try to schedule early in the day.
I just don't like that most of the time end up having to use both arms
I have learned over the last year who I trust to poke me and who to avoid. There are some that struggle to hit my vein or even ask for help from a coworker/lead to see if someone else can try versus poking me in both arms and then I get sent home. I have been deferred 2 times due to sloppy pokes which gave me 8 weeks to be ineligible to donate again. That’s a lot of money I was out. Yes I do it to help people but I also do it to buy new tires for my car and birthday presents for my kids.
