Unfortunately, I had a less-than-favorable experience at this center. The facility appears to be extremely understaffed. Waiting more than three hours only to be told I would have to wait a month until I stopped taking a medication I've been on for years was one of the most unprofessional experiences I've ever had. The medication in question is Naltrexone. I take it because it has been very successful in helping me maintain my recovery from opioid use disorder more than ten years ago, after previously doing well on Vivitrol.... read more
The process was very smooth. Everyone was very helpful with answering questions and explaining the process (as it was my first time), and they had a system- pumped people in and out of the place, which helped with the flow of the line constantly moving. I was in for my third donation. I had just began my donation when my right arm started to inflate beneath the skin. My vein was blown out. this was 5 days ago and I’m still in pain and don’t have full strength or mobility and my arm is in a lot of pain still not to mention the severe bruising up and down my arm.
