Had my appointment cancelled without getting contacted the same morning of the appointment today, no one answering the phone for over an hour. My boyfriend previously use to donate here and was banned after mentioning he has tremors, being told “well we don’t want you to be moving around” very ignorant. He donated fine without having mentioned it and this one nurse continued to deny him after she found out about his SMALL tremor until he got so pissed, because obviously it wasn’t a problem and they drew his blood fine before... read more
Giving 3 stars because the staff is great. I would give 2 stars for the facility, they are understaffed and wait times have gotten ridiculously long. If you are sent home because you can’t get into a chair on time they will not honor your payout price for that day. They should not be scheduling as many appointments as they do.
Finally admitted me at 5pm for a 3pm appointment before telling me I had to leave so they could admit another donor because I couldn’t find the name of a medication within 5 minutes. Also informed me that because they were having me leave I’d have to go through the physical (drawing blood, measuring blood pressure, scanning my thumbprint, taking height/weight) should I choose to reschedule, and the extended digital test.
This place needs more staff and better machines. Someone must have called out or something today because it took 20 minutes longer than usual for me to get to a machine for donation and when I got there the phlebotomist had technical difficulties with the machine and had to dispose of tubing and collection bottle and insert a new one because the machine shut down and had to be restarted. Well today August 2025, they send me home and being going for donations for 5 to 6 months and never have this problem about numbers , I walk 45 minutes to get there and it was walking for nothing is frustrating and the lady the see me today is a new employee, I really feel like they use me enough allready, like I said I never have this problem till today I never going back or referring anyone's either....I'm not gonna walk there again for nothing...is really frustrating.... SMH they should apriciated us..
