As a lab restoring implants for over twenty years, I can tell you that BioHorizons OEM prosthetic are woefully under-engineered to survive in vitro. What's worse, they do not stand behind their product. I just got off the phone with a representative who told me that their warranty does not extend to the prosthetic components, only to the implant itself. One of the worst implants. If you wait 3 to 5 years you are almost guaranteed 25% failure rate. In my office different doctors placed them about 5 to 6 years ago . And I’ve nothing but problems since. Bone loss around implants,failure after few years etc. in fact, I believe it’s an only implant system where you can untorque at any stage. My oral surgeon friend mentioned it to me as well. We use Straumann , AB and Zimmer for years with no issues.
