Hello, We were a group of 18 Veterinarians and or spouses/friends with a 12-day experience of hiking with some sea kayaking and exploration. This was intermingled with some excellent CE. Our guides were two native New Zealanders, and one has his origins in the earlier occupying people of the island. Hence, we benefited from his input and understanding some of phrases taught in the Maori language. My wife and I did the Bio Bio adventure trip to New Zealand associated with IVS veterinary seminars. It was a fantastic trip. The guides were great and we had a great exposure to the beauty and nature of the South Island. It is not a trip for those who aren't into being active or those who just want to relax!. There is a daily variety of beautiful long hikes, sea kayaking, whitewater rafting, helicopter trip to glaciers and jet boat trip down mountain rivers. I am just returning from a 6 day trip to the Argentinian Patagonia. Because of labor strikes in Argentina my trip was turned upside down. Despite this, Tory from BioBio was able to rearrange the trip for me and I didn’t miss anything. The vendors they used were super nice and accommodating. They really made me feel special. Bio Bio organized all aspects of our trip. We had a great time. They tool care of all the transportation outside of the air travel. The options for hiking were excellent.
WHAT AN EPIC TRIP! LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT. was so well run, amazing food, amazing hikes and made amazing memories, would definitely use Bio Bio again!
