I want to thank Binswanger Glass Co., for taking care of me, especially, Eddie and the crew that installed my new beautiful shower doors and framed mirrors! Never use Binswanger in Galveston – They are the worse company have the worse customer service in the area. Would never recommend them....they don't show when they say the are on one occasion never showed up and never called to say they weren't coming nor did the apologize. They are awfulL!!!!! go somewhere else!
Go somewhere else! – Not sure if they are like other Binswanger locations but this one should be avoided. I ordered a glass top for my table and when I went to pick it up I found that they had taken a sander or something to the edges of the glass and it looked terrible. When I asked them about getting another one with polished edges they said they could do that but they wouldn't give me any credit for the glass they already got me that was messed up. Had to do the job three times! – Regrettably somebody came along in the middle of the night and destroyed both my windshield and back glass. Completely obliterated, so I would need them all new. I decided to go with Binswanger because my dad said it was a reputable business. I believe it ended up being over $400 total, which I was expecting. They charge for work not done! RIPPED OFF! Overcharged and Cheated!!! – I had a windshield replaced. The work took 55 minutes. The invoice clearly stated $30 PER HOUR LABOR. But ... I was charged $84!!! I was charged 2.80 hours for a 55 minute job! When I called and questioned the inflated charge, I was told by both a woman answering the phone and a male manager whom she brought to the phone that "That's what the computer says." ALREADY CRACKED! – They came out and did the glass, but after closely examining the glass it is cracked. We are contacting them today to see if this can be resolved.
Don't knock Binswanger for someone for your poor judgement – Regarding the lastest post by sklambert: are you an idiot. You love Binswanger, but decided to use a "3rd party" that refused to allow you to use Binswanger products (which you said you "love"). Amazing service from start to finish! – The first thing I noticed about Binswanger Glass was that their staff was sympathetic. Not too many places ask (or care) about you- just how fast they can get you and your car in and out. Not Binswanger Glass though! Saturday: Their waiting area was completely full when I came in, but they were super professional and patient when helping everyone. nice people, great service – my local hardware store could not provide me with a piece of replacement glass for a picture frame, and they referred me to binswanger....not only did they cut the glass for me immediately, but they didn't even charge me for it because it was such a small job....AND they were friendly to my dogs!! i will DEFINITELY go back to them for any future glass/mirror needs (even if it's not 'free'!)....true customer service and consideration is a rare thing these days, and i always remember any place wher... read more
