Binghamton Housing Authority needs a complete internal review. Many tenants are dealing with lost payments, unexplained fees, inconsistent paperwork, and confusing billing practices. Several families — including myself — have had rent misapplied or money orders “lost”. The communication across departments is poor, and tenants are often given contradictory information. Certain staff are discriminating racist against disabled disrespectful a scam no fire escape for second floors in thr village maintenance is rude never on time does not fix anything they over charge take other tenants sides let people get away with things gates are always open and broke laundry room is not kept up machines don't work people do drugs you can smell it they do not do anything about it
The way thing are being handled with the construction in 35 felters, road has caused me so much severe stress and trauma due to you guys giving us limited information in the last year and a 1/2 since the first information went out in 2022. We were giving no warning and all of a sudden. In September received a phone call that we had to move in the next 3 months during the holidays, which is not humane at all.
