I went in to get a pelvic exam due to some painful periods. During the exam Shandra Averett was quiet and spoke in whispers to the nurse with her. After the exam she informed me she had done a procedure of applying silver nitrate to my cervix and done a few swabs for testing all without informing me or asking for my consent. She only told AFTER the procedure had been done. It was painful and now I am going home in pain. I did not WANT silver nitrate and if asked would have declined. I had a wonderful experience at this provider today. Everyone was kind and understanding. My questions were all answered. I was very nervous to go and they were amazing.
