History Established in 1957. Opened in July of 1957, we were one of the first animal hospitals in Saint Louis dedicated to the care of companion animals. We have continued to provide compassionate care as a full service animal hospital for over sixty years!

The hardest goodbye I have ever had with a pet was my Chelsea who was 17 years old. The vets at Binder Hospital have always taken care of her and my other dog, Dr. Pisoni has operated on her 3 times and each time I knew she was in the best hands possible. Dr. Birkner has been her vet since he joined the staff, and he is the most caring, knowledgeable vet, and was my source of strength through the process of when I had to let her go. RecommendedIt was a great comfort that Molly didn't have to suffer and we were able to let her go under the care of the team she was used to. Binder staff were compassionate and made this awful day a little easier.
the care is very good, but there is no way to leave a message after hours. If you work long shifts this is extremely inconvenient there's no email or phone number or message line
We’ve been coming here for at least 30 years. Dr Felder is the best with our cats. Had a sick boy recently and with the virus you get more anxious with not being able to go in. She and the staff handled Jinx with love and took quick care to get what he needed. I so appreciate that!
I have used them for almost 30 years for all of our pets. They are the BEST. They are knowledgeable, have common sense and are loving. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
They treated my baby’s hurt jaw with so much love and care. I could not ask for more than that. She spent the day with them and wasn’t even excited to see me, that’s a GOOD thing. The sedative probably helped too. She is doing so much better tonight. Even with the storms that scare her, she is doing great.

Absolutely!!! They treat me and my critters with respect. I have some high maintenance pets and have always been kind and patient with them.
