What a beautiful place to enjoy a romantic evening. The food was absolutely delicious, the lemon paste by far was our favorite and the cocktail were so light and summery. Highly recommend for a romantic date especially the window when the light comes in. The stay were helpful and friendly.
The only problem was the food. There was an overwhelming amount of cloves in the rhubarb that obliterated any flavor of rhubarb or pork. The pork was dry and almost impossible to remove the fat cap. Broccolini had too much lemon and was difficult to eat. Special salad needed salt. Passion fruit tart was delicious. Good wine (French chablis). Drinks were pushed way too hard.
I just want to thank the people at Bimis for their kindness on May 25th. My husband and I were there to celebrate our an anniversary since we love Bimis and have been there a couple times before, I unfortunately experienced a health episode during our dinner and the people there couldn't have been kinder to us. They packed up our dinner as I had to be transported to the hospital and asked us to please visit again to celebrate our anniversary dinner with them. We were not charged for our drinks. The service was great ! Our waiter obi is amazing, tentative with his service, just on top of his job , made sure we didn’t need anything!! Food was amazing too !
We have been huge fans of Bimi’s Canteen & Bar since they grew out of the amazing Bimi’s cheese shop. I love the unpretentious approach to New American cuisine and the farmhouse/factory decor. When I noticed that they listed Four Fat Fowl on their supplier list, my mind went immediately to FFF’s stellar St. Stephan soft ripened cheese. So.
