I would have rated this restaurant 1 star if the food, the environment, and the staff other than our server wasn’t excellent. Our server was arrogant, not good at his job, and worst of all said many inappropriate, offensive, and generalizing statements about Women, Gay people, Polish people, and southerners. What a beautiful place to enjoy a romantic evening. The food was absolutely delicious, the lemon paste by far was our favorite and the cocktail were so light and summery. Highly recommend for a romantic date especially the window when the light comes in. The stay were helpful and friendly.
The only problem was the food. There was an overwhelming amount of cloves in the rhubarb that obliterated any flavor of rhubarb or pork. The pork was dry and almost impossible to remove the fat cap. Broccolini had too much lemon and was difficult to eat. Special salad needed salt. Passion fruit tart was delicious. Good wine (French chablis). Drinks were pushed way too hard.
