We really enjoyed our afternoon sailing with Jay. I have not sailed in many years and thought this would be a good activity to renew skills and enjoy a sail. Both were achieved - I have the sailing bug again! Very positive and fun experience. We also found Jay to be a patient 'coach' and enjoyed much conversation on the area and many other topics!
Had a sailing lesson with Captain Jay Winters on the Trimaran. Great instruction and a good first time experience with sailing.
We highly recommend Capt. Jay. Our son completed two three hour lessons at Bimini Bay. Not only was he sailing on his own, but he had a great time. He was very impressed with Capt. Jay’s knowledge and coaching experience. We appreciated Capt. jay providing a very safe environment for our son to have an adventure.
We had our first sailing lesson with Jay while on vacation in Anna Maria island. We had a great experience. Jay is very knowledgeable and it’s obvious he has a passion for sharing it with his students. If/when we come back here for vacation I will be reaching out for another lesson. I recommend him for anyone looking for a sailing instructor. The boats are small and can be operated alone, but since it was our first time we rode together in the boat for most of the lesson.
