The 2 stars is really for mismanagement of yesterday. All staff members were great and were doing the best that they could with a large crowd. Knowing in advance that the Knicks parade would be going on, more staff should have been on duty. There was noone at the host stand, 2 people behind the bar, a few waitstaff, and more importantly no manager or supervisor to come out & communicate anything to us while waiting to get in. We only visited for the Saturday brunch buffet, so I can’t speak to the regular menu, but the brunch experience was surprisingly poor. The buffet food was generally cold, and several items seemed as though they had been sitting out for quite some time. The bread and pastries were stale, and there wasn’t even a toaster available to warm them up. The pancakes were almost comically overcooked.
