Jeanette is do cute friendly personable and helpful. The store is named after her mom and her dad was a pharmacist who brought his family to newberry and bought rexall drugs. Sadly both parents passed away and recall is closed but Jeannette has carried on a tradition of awesome sweet gifts crafts and fabric art supplies jewelry novelty items from the 60’s to the 80,s. Nostalgic and fun place all the way around.
What’s NOT to like? Something for everyone - new stuff, old stuff. But it’s Nanette (Billie’s daughter) who is the gem. She’s delightful, friendly and has local history to share. Stores like this are few and far between. Reminds me of an old dimestore; she may not take credit cards, but I’m not sure. I paid cash because it’s a small local business.
