I had a terrible experience, and after reading so many positive reviews I was shocked. I purchased a $3,500.00 wig, which is not only ill-suited to my head size- it looks like a wig, despite being human hair, and bloody expensive. Once I said I would purchase the wig, we were rushed out of the shop without time for questions, or second thoughts. I now know why. One of the best salon experiences I've ever had! From the dry consultation to the best therapy head massage, Ms.Marisa has a way of making you feel relaxed comfortable and look like a million bucks! She's truly one of the most unique hair stylists I've ever met in Houston,during my stay here.Extremely soft, courteous, kind, lovable especially for both elders, youngsters and babies,means children. Very nice, very clean & Covid safe. Good variety of wigs. BUT... high priced!! And if you want wig trimmed or styled, it costs $30 or more extra!!! Everywhere I’ve ever shopped, the trimming is included with purchase. May as well buy online at $100’s or so less than their markup (on average & much more on human hair) & have styled at your own stylist. I can't speak to the quality of wigs that Billie Jean's sells but I can say that I would be very hesitant to do business here. I seriously question the integrity of the owner and would prefer to deal with a more honest business. I have to believe this business is receiving kick-backs from the towing company they use to tow innocent customers of the surrounding businesses. Billie Jean and Cookie have a lovely shop that made me feel so comfortable when I needed a wig due to hair loss. Billie is a cancer survivor and was very warm and welcoming to me. Thanks to them I don't feel so self conscious about my condition and I really do look and feel great in my new hair style.
