Just wanted to say thank you, Bill! Bill has been especially helpful with a camera repair that was damaged in shipping and saved me a significant amount of money and headache. If you have any troubles, especially with Mamiya cameras, don't hesitate to reach out to him. He has helped me out of a tough spot and I'm very appreciative.
Bill is an exceptionally talented service tech. He clearly explained what needed to be done, provided a precise price breakdown, and did top-tier work. You will wait a little while but that’s normal - there are very, very few technicians who have the skill and experience he has, and that’s reflected in the demand for his service. It’s money well spent keeping these incredible pieces of engineering functional for many years to come.
Not great customer service. Barely any communication unless I contacted him. Short answers and replies when I got them. Says he couldn’t fix the camera and he is sending it back to me bc he cannot locate a part or have access to it after 2.5 months of having the camera in his possession. Idk, to me seems like he just didn’t want to complete or deal with the camera. Just not a great experience overall.
