In 1950, with a $500 loan from his father, Bill Miller opened a small poultry and egg business. Three years later Bill Miller Bar-B-Q began as a small fried chicken-to-go restaurant. Today Bill Miller is a family owned and operated business with 77 locations in the San Antonio, Austin, Corpus Christi and surrounding areas. I originally thought it was a sit down full service place. It's a walk up glorified counter service place. Picked up a to go order for a friend who loves the food.

It would really be nice to have pinto beans in my container and not just juice.
I don't know if it's the chain Bill Miller's that's gone down so badly in quality or just mine in Castroville. The Food especially the fries always taste old and hard like they been sitting out all day. The brisket taste salty most of the time. I have to agree with some of the other reviews the workers almost always get the order wrong and you always must double check your food before you leave the parking lot, because I can't count how many trips I have made back to complain that my order was wrong or missing something. Cant even get the items right when its ordered as appears on menu. The wild bill? Brisket and sausage, nah, couple dried up brisket slices will do it. Also not a drop of sauce with the order, which will be needed if you order Bill Millers brisket.
