Do not buy one of these houses. I can speak only about mine but I can tell you that mine is a hunk of junk. The ouside unit failed last winter about 18 months after I purchased. The HVAC guys said they won't put those units an any longer as they are junk. The builder did not put the baffles in. Now it is hot and the AC is not working again, hard to believe. Now about 20 months into my house. Last winter the door to the bathroom wouldn't latch and after the outside warmed up again it did latch. Now it is cold again and the door frame is out of square and the latch plate has pulled back from the door. I also noticed that the cracks above said door are back again after they fixed them last year. The Heatpump is also total shit, I had the outside unit quit defrosting about November. I have had my home for about 18 months now. I am on Ardell Drive in Cardinal Creek subdivision. It is a one story, generic home. and they actually did a pretty good job on the home warrantee stuff. These homes are bargain basement, cheap windows cheap roofs, cheap doors. I had Anderson windows in the old home and the construction was much better, 2x12s int the floor and 2 steel beams running through the basement. If I could give them zero stars I would . Do not rent an apartment on 225 Clara drive in Pembroke KY. It is infested with roaches . The roaches have taken over the house , and at this point they can have it . You have to consistently call them to come spray the apartment. And when they do they are here for five minutes. It has gotten to the point that the roaches are bold enough to crawl on the beds . We kill more than 15 roaches a day . Nothing works just don’t do it . Yes the rent is cheap but it is not worth it . I'm only giving this a one star because I had to give something. BMH is a highly unprofessional and unethical building company. I was amazed that there were no filed complaints on BBB. My husband and I are military and have heard from neighbors and other military friends how difficult working with BMH is. They fail to follow through on contracts, they refuse to fix things that are their responsibility, and they do not value the customers that keep them in business.
