Great place for any repair Small famiily owned business. Only place I will take my vehicle to get major repair because it will be done right the first time. You don't have to worry about them being dishonest or doing shady work.
THE place for my Volvo repair This is the best Volvo repair place in mid-Michigan and probably in the WORLD. I tried several in mid-Michigan before discovering Bill and Charlie's Auto Repair about 10 years ago. They are competent, honest and prompt. Excellent with 1993 and earlier models, but doubtless on newer models too as the business and technology have grown.
Honest, reasonable, and locally-owned I'm sure we're all a bit leary of auto mechanics but if you own a 13-year-old Jeep like my husband and I do, you quickly learn who you can trust. We typically need one major repair a year with the Beast and we've always been treated fairly, and quickly. We might be able to find better quotes if we shopped around, but here you know the work will be done right. PROS: Honesty CONS: Location is not in the best area of town
Honest and competant These guys nursed a Volvo of ours to 225,000 miles. They are fair and always do an excellent job. We never had to take the car back to get any repair redone.
Poor Listening Skills!! Had our vehicle checked by a competitor first (on a Thursday), big estimate for repairs so we took the vehicle home and parked it. I called 20+ places the next day (Friday), getting quotes for comparison, because it was a larger job, most places (incl Bill and Charlies) had to call me back. They did call back, and amazed me with their price, "bottom, basic" quote was less than $400 (compared to $1400-2200+ other places said).
