We're in the area and had to stop to get a new tire. We had thread separation on our old tire and couldn't get to a bigger city to deal with the tire due to the Carr fire. Well we were sold a tire installed and out the door for $80 and no receipt. We needed the tire so we said sold. Well the next morning the tire was already 8psi low and had to be refilled. On a road trip from Portland to Berkeley we stopped for lunch and by sheer luck ended up parked across the street from this place. I discovered one of my tires was de-laminating and I needed a quick replacement. The shop isn't much to look at, but the people were friendly, efficient, and very fair. In the time it took us to eat a quick lunch they replaced my defective tire with a mounted, balanced replacement and charged me a very fair price.
