Was not sure about buying a bike online (for the obvious reasons) but a mate bought from these guys and recommended them to me. I hesitated but ended up buying. - 100% would do it again. There was a small technical issue on my Polygone gravel bike (SRAM ASX system) but ‘Bryan’ at bikes online was amazing. He organised a local bike shop to rectify the issue, and within 24hrs, I went from reporting the problem to riding it. Highly recommend giving them a go!

I ordered a Marin DSX 1 online which arrived promptly. Once assembled I noticed that the drivetrain was not the one specified on the website. I specifically ordered this model for its superior drivetrain and I did not receive what I ordered. I contacted Bikesonline who responded quickly and politely, but effectively said "too bad". I'm now in a position where I could either send the bike back or just settle for what they gave me. I need a bike, so I'll have to settle. Very disappointed. P.S. The rest of the bike is fine. Worst customer service ever! Terrible systems that are not customer focused. Realized i ordered an incorrect tire, and immediately called (within five minutes of making the order) the Bikes Online help number to adjust my order. Talked to an “agent” who appeared to just be a random external call center person with no ability to make any changes to my order, but assured me he would pass on my request. Brad from the Bikes Online team was amazing and went above and beyond. He provided guidance on measurement to ensure I bought the right size. He provided great advice on which bike to buy - ended up with the HeliosA7x which was delivered to the warehouse, built and fitted to me. He then met me to fit my shoes and helped me take it for a test ride. Although this isn’t their standard business model it really helped me confidently decide on which bike was right for me. 2nd bike purchased through bikes online. As with the last, it arrived ridiculously quickly. There was a slight issue with the order, which Bromley went above and beyond to quickly rectify. I wish this level of customer satisfaction was on the agenda for other companies. Won't buy a bike through anyone else.
