Bike shopping without the 'tude – Bikes Not Bombs is the shop I would recommend to anyone looking for a refurbished bike (or a surly crosscheck). They are located in JP right off of the southwest corridor, so it was well worth the drive for me. I was comfortable asking many questions and test riding a bunch of different road bikes too. I visited twice - the first at the beginning of my quest for a (tiny) road bike, the second at the end, to purchase said road bike.
