Needed a front wheel and had priced some online but decided to give local merchant a try. Am happy I did, owner answered many questions and sold me a wheel I am very happy with for less than I had found on online searches.
I called and went in today to see Lynn. I came out with a bike. I got excellent service. He talked to me about my needs and went over the several different options I had as well as the pros and cons to each. I took a few test spins and settled on an option I had never even considered. I am very pleased with my purchase and my bike rides like a dream. Buying a quality bike wasn’t as pricey as I thought it would be and having someone take the time (nearly an hour) to explain everything was priceless. I’m a customer for life!
My friend went in to buy a bike and when she asked about custom seats, she was told she couldn’t afford it. She stated her son was going to buy it for her and the store clerk said my friend’s son could not afford it either. My friend decided she would buy her bike in Austin. Was this store clerk fired for not doing her job? Also, this happened in 2014. Also my friend’s son could have afforded to buy every bike in that store. He plays for the NFL.
My wife and I bought bikes for Christmas. Love the bikes and it’s a great store. He has a lot of knowledge and is always helpful. I hate Walmart bikes and the quality difference is worth it. My health and wellness is worth a little more. He’s also been helping restore some old bmx bikes that were once magnificent that previous owners left to ruin.
Drove 60 miles for very needed bike repairs only to find store closed. Your website said you were open the hours I was there.
What a true Craftsman. Brought my grandsons bike in for a flat, was able to get shifter fixed and chain. But best part was the time he took with Coleman teaching him how to care for his bike. What a pleasant experience . Brownwood is lucky to have this specialty shop. Let's support our Craftsmen.
