It would be awesome if you guys could take the time to update your Craigslist ads. There's nothing like driving 50 miles round trip just to find out that the bike in the ad sold a few days ago. If that's the case, why was the ad reposted yesterday? Thanks for wasting 1.5 hours of my day!!! Awesome!!!!!
My goodness - I totally should have read through the Yelp and Mapquest reviews before visiting this shady establishment! My boyfriend and I visited after seeing an almost absurd number of Bike Nuts postings all over Craigslist (one gets the impression these dubious characters spend a TON of time posting and re-posting their inventory on Craigslist as often as possible!). My partner and I live in Seattle and found this place after coming across several of their many Craigslist bike postings, so we decided to visit in person to check out their inventory. Bottom line: (1) the guy who apparently runs/owns the shop comes across as pretentious and annoyed, particularly if you ask "too many" questions about a bike's background, age or history, etc. (2) Bike Nuts prices are totally nuts!
