This place is trash. Brought my bike in for a tune up and tried to explain the issues I was having to the mechanic, person at the front desk told me to “stop bothering him and let him look.” First red flag. I thought ok, they’ll figure it out. 90 bones for a tune up which they had me pay up front. Second red flag. Told me it would be done in a few days which was fine, I just needed it back in time as I need my bike for my job. Called in on the day they said it would be done, told me “did we call you yet? Kan and Pearl were such a great team helping out with my bike, I was in an urge to get my bike ready before the holiday and they looked for the gear necessary to have it ready for the same day. I will recommend and now I am a loyal customer of bike life!
Took my bike in for a flat and they didn’t recognize the hole in the tire, sent me back out and immediately got another flat. Poor service and did not refund for original flat.
Love these folks. Lifelong NY'er here — I've been in the neighborhood for almost 1.5 years now — I'm so thrilled I can stick to a local family shop for my maintenance. Brought my Brompton in for a flat tire, and they took me again in the next day to diagnose some persistent issue with great care. Super friendly crew, very helpful, happy to go back and recommend to my friends!
