Looking for a local mechanic to work on my 2008 Victory Vegas and found this hidden garage in Newark. Alex the owner assured me he can handle the service on my bike. Stopped by and met him in person. Seems very affable and detailed oriented. Will update once he finishes repairs. Fingers crossed!
Alex refused to service my bike. Just literally kicked me out his shop. Screaming I was refusing to put in a deposit. He didn't give me a qoute or even a price to put down. He told me he was gonna call me back, which he never did. I had to call him the next morning for him to now react this way. Utterly unprofessional and disrespectful. Weeks prior, Alex and I planned for him to pick up my bike on Monday; today. I took off from work and traveled all the way from Ohio, and waited all day, just for Alex to wait till 3pm in the afternoon to tell me he’s not coming to pick up my bike anymore. Very unprovoked and very unprofessional. I can't recommend Bike Boys enough! Alex and his crew did an excellent job on my motorcycle, which was suffering from a gas leak and idling problems. Throughout the repair process, they maintained constant communication, providing updates and insights. I have gone in for oil changes two years in a row now, and this year I took my bike in a second time because I was seeing oil on my engine casing. Every time has been a great experience. The oil changes are simple, the engine problem was apparently a gasket. When replacing it though they checked the bike over thoroughly, I noticed it running much smoother when I got it back.
