YOU MUST WEAR CLOSED TOED SHOES TO RENT A BIKE! Nowhere on the website do they mention this, only on site in very small letters, so be prepared. Also they don't have bikes for all ages. Only adult or toddlers, so your 8-10 year old may struggle to find a good fit. Decent price for all day, especially with a DVC discount. Adult bikes have a front basket which is nice.
I had an amazing time with my family panning for gems and fossils, the cast members were very nice, too. They also had the most pins I have ever seen on a pinboard. I strongly recommend this.
Decent gear for the price. The only thing I would add is pilers to the rental, since everything is catch and release. We deep hooked a sun fish and had to keep it in the water while I ran to the marina for pilers. 10 minutes later we released the fish. Hooked a Bass correctly but once again the hook was a challenge but got it out. Overall a good time since everyone lived.
Kayaking at this time is not worth the effort. The water is so low that the route is limited, the water is stagnant, and the view is hindered.
