Jason was incredibly hospitable, he made sure that we had everything we needed and more. He also took us on an excursion on his pontoon, where we were able to experience the beautiful nature and do some cliff jumping on an island. I will 10000% be back there again. Thank you Jason and Susie for this wonderful experience!
Incredible property with amazing views and great camping areas where you genuinely feel a sense of privacy. I came here on a camping trip with friends, and the property owners Jason and Susie were some of the most accommodating hosts we’ve ever had. Jason always made sure we had everything we needed and even offered to take us out on the lake in their boat. One of our group members had never been camping before, and this turned out to be the perfect first experience. It was also one of the best camping trips I’ve ever had. Jason and Susie were incredibly welcoming and hospitable, even taking us by boat to some nearby jumping rocks. The lake was one of the best I’ve visited in Canada, with some of the warmest and most enjoyable water I’ve experienced. Overall, it was a 10/10 experience, and I highly recommend it!
We rented this campsite on fairly short notice for a weekend trip with friends, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. Jason was an exceptional host from start to finish. We arrived much later than expected, and he was incredibly accommodating, helping us unload and move our gear to the campsite. Throughout the weekend he went above and beyond. We had an amazing glamping experience at Big Rock Retreat! The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and surrounded by beautiful scenery, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind.
