Bigham Farms & Exotics is a small family owned zoo! We first opened in January 2022 and we are continuously growing! We have a lemur, camel, wallaby, coatimundi, cavies, macaws, reptiles & much much more! We offer events, birthday parties, school trips, traveling to schools & Open to the public days at our farm. A lovely place with cool turtles, parrots, peacocks and a few other animals you can feed. Very nice and informative owner.
A hidden gem right outside Tuscaloosa! We did a private tour of That Turtle Place and it was such a cool experience! We got to pet and feed several of the turtles, and we learned so much about all the animals! The owner is so passionate about taking care of all the animals. We also got to see several peacocks with their tail feathers on display, that was awesome!
Definitely must visit! So convenient to Tuscaloosa/Northport and worth the price of admission. We took our grandchildren, stayed about 2 hours and everyone had a great time. The owner is incredibly welcoming and equally knowledgeable. The interaction with the animals is up close, and the property is well taken care of. Go support this local place!
