Overall a very decent place to live and I haven't had any big problems. I've been loving my time here and it's so refreshing having helpful leasing staff. Savannah in particular is very helpful and accommodating whenever we had questions or issues. Maintenance is also great and communicative, though the time it takes for them to get to your request may vary. I’ve had a great experience living at the Biggs Building over the past 10 months. The leasing and maintenance staff and other residents are all kind, polite, and welcoming. My rescue puppy has mostly grown up here, and her confidence around people has skyrocketed due to the wonderful people here - now she loves people a little TOO much! As a VCU grad student, I love being in walking distance to campus, along with a parking lot so I can get to my internship and work easily. Not a bad place but beware of the noise from a band (?) nearby and the constant chatter from outside
I’m glad options like this exist. For what you pay for and what you get I think this is great especially for the area. I am definitely keep this place on my radar. Savannah gave me a good idea of total costs and availability. Her transparency was much appreciated compared to other properties I’ve been looking at.
Moved in last May, missing the exterior panes of my windows. Noted on my five-day fixit list, put in multiple maintenance requests and only after harassing the office due to OUTRAGEOUS dominion bills, was told that management has “met with multiple contractors; however, we have not yet received a quote that allows us to proceed.
