Not trustworthy and don’t maintain apartments and if they do they kick u out
Do not reccomend renting through Bigelow unless you want to fix things yourself and pay for everything. They won't help you out.
So far my experience here (only 8 days) and not good. The lady I rent from Debbie is amazing and has tried to help as best she can. I had flodding in my apartment as I was moving in. They replace the bedroom carpet with new but patched used carpeting into my living room. My washer has been down since day one and it still not fixed. I was told it would be replace but when I called the main office to follow up on a maintenace request I got Keri and she is the worst person to ever deal with. I am the office manager and to start out with I was unaware of the flooding issue until now, but sounds like the issue is being taken care of. One morning there was a man sleeping with a knife and a bottle of wine in the hallway. Kelly claimed it was okay because it was my neighbors son and it wouldnt happen again- as if that excuses it. The drying machine in my building has been broken for about 2 years. They "fix" it for 1 day and then when it breaks the next day ignore it for months. Tenants leave the front door propped open so it's not really a secure entrance, like they claim. Kelly is extremely rude to tenants and impossible to work with. Don't rent from her ... read more

Rented for 7 years, AC never worked, when asked to have it replaced or fixed we got an used AC as replacement, 7 years living at Ledgecrest apartments and appliances were never replaced, carpet was coming lose, we actually stepped on nails coming lose from carpet(a carpet that was already there at least couple years prior to us moving in AND now that we moved out, they are charging us with carpet replacement! Have rented from them for the last 10 years, first couple years were a little rocky but I am not usually one to ask for much anyways. The last 7 years I have had little to no problems with them with the exception of bad snow storms (only the most recent one which was the worst we've had). maintenance is usually very good about taking care of issues as quickly as they can. office ladies are very nice and helpful. if you are a good tenant who doesn't cause problems and are responsible, they take will take care of you.
While living there for 15 months, they never replaced the lights in front of the garage even after multiple requests. The toilet in the hallway continued to run after several visits and just stopped using it. The garbage disposal was never fixed. The smoke alarm continued to beep off and on and after notification they never came to fix. After moving out they charged me to replace even though it was well worn before I moved in. Rented with Bigelow for 3.5 years and had a great experience. Always very timely when responding to maintenance requests. Apartment was very clean when we moved in. Got most of our security deposit back (some of it rightfully withheld). I did spend HOURS cleaning and repairing minor things before moving out, so I appreciate getting most of our deposit back. The parking lot could always use better attention in winter (snow & ice removal), but that's my only gripe. Would recommend.
