The owner is an amazing person he knows we help the homeless and blessed our family If you haven't tried out their food you definitely need to because its so dang good!!!!!

Nice mix of fatty and less fatty burnt ends. Very moist, smokey turkey. Cornbread is heading towards corn pudding. Tender, tomato-y beans with plenty of brown sugar; soft and juicy. Awesome overcooked mac'n'cheese with a slightly smokey flavor. You probably won't need extra BBQ sauce. Alas, Pepsi. Casual, friendly neighborhood atmosphere; crowd comes and goes. Good music. Small off-street parking in rear. Look for the green "open" sign on the corner.

Maybe we caught them on an off day but at Porchfest last year they were serving the worst bbq I've ever encountered. The ribs were old, no smoke, soaking in a watery oil mixture. There was no flavor other than ribs that were old before ever cooking them. The pulled pork had also been soaking in a water mix because the bun was inedible and was thrown away. I was asked if I would like another bun and I said yes but never received one. The bbq sauce made the pork at least edible but I thought the sauce was a bit bland as well. ... read more
