We went to Big Woods and tried the gyro pizza—it was so good! The flavors all worked perfectly together, and it honestly surprised me how well it turned out. Super tasty and definitely something I’d get again. The vibe of the place was really nice too, with great service that made the whole experience even better. Big Woods is definitely worth checking out, and I’ll be back for sure!
I would give a negative star if I could. We didn’t make it past our drink before we decided to leave. Our family has been to Big Woods in Speedway and Bloomington many times and were extremely disappointed today. The host was not the most helpful when it came to seating, a stroller and needing a high chair… the waitress was kind and moved us once she noticed but then all the beer was flat and not ok. Service is good! Christian is an excellent waiter. Marinara sauce is good, little watery. WARNING: if you ask for garlic, you will get minced garlic. And it will be all over your pizza, in a truly egregious amounts. If you ask for basil, you will get one leaf placed on your pizza. And you will be charged an extra 3$ for the pleasure of pretending you are satisfied with how your pizza tastes.
Update! Had another great lunch he yesterday. Chelsie took great care of us and the rest of the whole restaurant. She took care of everyone and doing it with a smile on her face. Great nachos and wonderful pizza, but even better service from Chelsie. Had a great lunch here today. Allie took great care of us. Pizza was delicious.
Amanda provided great service. This is by far the best food served in the mall and surrounding area. Eating anywhere else is foolish.
