Here is my experience. I am not saying you will have the same experience as I did. But I saw the food we ordered brought out and put on another table by another waitress who then brought it back to the kitchen were our server brought it out to us. I did not eat my food. I felt it should have been remade. Hopefully this does not happen to you!
The food wasn’t bad and the atmosphere. But the flies! They have a roll door in the bar and there are so many flies inside it makes it hard to eat because you’re swatting them so much.
Food was not the best. We were looking forward to trying out this restaurant since it’s opened. I had the Alaskan Cod which came out very dark as if their deep fry oil was old and hasn’t been changed in awhile. Fries were half cooked. Wife has thinner chicken with French onion soup and she loves that soup. One mouthful she pulled a funny face and moved it away. She said it was like drinking water out of the ocean. Her onion rings tasted like a hint of banana which was weird. We won’t be headed back there again.
The food was absolutely delicious, and I will definitely be back for that alone. What really stood out during my visit, however, was the bartender. She was attentive, professional, and worked incredibly hard throughout my entire visit. From what I observed, she was handling multiple responsibilities at once—tending bar, cashing out tickets, taking incoming orders, and assisting guests throughout the restaurant. I dined in alone. The service was stellar. The staff was very polite and accommodating. Sadly, the food was just meh. I ordered the seasonal "hot honey mozz pulls" and the burbon street burger. The fried cheese wasn't bad, though the breading was so thick on them that rather then break, the breading became a shell and the melted cheese just pulled free of the shell when you take a bite.
