I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and fries, and my son had the chicken strips and fries. The fries were actually not too bad, but unfortunately, the bacon cheeseburger was inedible. The bun arrived completely squished, smashed, and torn apart in the bag. The burger itself had very little flavor and was seared to the point of being extremely overcooked. It was also far too salty. Big Wheel Burger is amazing! They truly support the local community, and the burgers are perfectly cooked with delicious, crispy fries. The young AM at the front was extremely polite, friendly, and welcoming. His genuine smile and great hospitality made this one of my best experiences. Highly recommend!
A "fast" food place with the price of a full service restaurant. Over $50 for a couple of burgers and fries. This was one of the worst burgers I've ever had. Completely overcooked to the point of being crunchy. We will not be back.
we both ordered the bacon cheese burger and it was bland and mid. the garlic parm fries and Cajun fries were also very bland. there are much better burger places in the Valley
We went for lunch a bit early I think it was 11. No other customers around and it took nearly half hour for our two person meal. Was very expensive, but we were hopeful thanks to the gluten free options. When our food was finally ready despite only us in the store, it was a decent burger but we've had better. The mushroom poutine gravy was absolutely not for us. Lacking flavor and gooey consistency. I enjoy McDonald's poutine better tbh. So for a trip to Courtenay and the splurge, we won't repeat.
